Authorities
have named Dzhokar Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, as a
suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. He was arrested on Friday,
April 19, after a massive manhunt following an overnight shootout with
police in suburban Watertown that left his 26-year-old brother Tamerlan
Tsarnaev -- the other man wanted in the bombings -- dead.
As 19-year-old Dzhokar
Tsarnaev remained in serious condition in a heavily guarded Boston-area
hospital room early Saturday morning, talk turned to what's next for the
accused Boston Marathon bomber.
President Barack Obama let it be known that he's keenly interested in answers
"There are still many
unanswered questions," Obama said. "Why did these young men who grew up
and studied here as part of our communities and our country resort to
such violence? How did they plan and carry out these attacks? And did
they receive any help? The families of those killed so senselessly
deserve answers."
