A Bomb that was in a Plane from Lagos to Altlanta has been foild


It is being reported on Twitter that there was an alleged bomb scare on a Lagos to Atlanta bound Delta Airlines flight yesterday June 9. According to a passenger on the plane, Editi Effiong, a man on the plane allegedly tried to blow up the plane, by detonating  a device which caused the electronic systems on the plane shut down and lights started to flicker. The plane was forced to land in Dakar, Senegal, where the man was promptly arrested and taken away.

Insecurity: FCT Minister Orders Abuja Hotels to Submit Guest List to Security Agencies

Senator Bala Mlohammed Embarks on operation ‘know your neighbour campaign’ Senator Iroegbu In his determination to secure  lives and property in Abuja, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, has directed all hotels to forward a list of their guests to the FCT Directorate of State Security Services (SSS) and the FCT Police Command on a daily basis. Mohammed announced this directive in a statement signed yesterday by his Special Assistant (Media), Mr. Nosike Ogbuenyi. According to him, the hotels are equally required to install their individual security cameras within their vicinity and ensure thorough check of all vehicles entering the hotel and within their surroundings.
